The Course
Students learn about the production and management of information by solving information problems through the use of software tools such as databases and programming languages. Students address all four phases of the Information strand of the Technology Curriculum Framework: Investigating the information needs of the user as well as some of the wider social issues connected with information technology; designing and producing the information needed; evaluating the suitability of the final product.

- Data Entry form for Class Database
- Query created to link class database and form database, sorted by class then student surname
- Report created by Wizard - Columnar based on Query (all fields) - including YOUR login, date and formatted appropriately to fit on one A4 sheet.

Algorithms Completion of theory sheets - tested as part of VB test
Theory - Satisfactory average on weekly homework assignments
- Maintenance of IM folder of notes

The theoretical side of computers and their use is covered with homework tasks - approximately one per week.
