Outline |
| You are to create a triple fold brochure to advertise your product. The suggested program in which to do this is MSPublisher as it has templates to provide you with a starting point for correctly laying out the folded areas. You are, however, expected to design your own brochure and not just use one of the available templates. |
Investigation |
Collect at least 3 examples of triple-fold brochures. Make a list of the information contained in the brochure and how it is placed. Can you identify why certain information is placed in certain areas? |
Design |
| ON PAPER ...Prepare a layout design to indicate what information you plan to include in your brochure and where it will be placed with careful consideration of how the brochure will be folded and therefore which areas will be viewable at each stage of unfolding. |
Production |
Print your brochure in black and white and check that it folds correctly. The folds are expected to be precise. Prepare to print your brochure (double-sided) in colour. (The teachers will do this for you on the colour laser printer in the last week.) Fold it correctly. The folds are expected to be precise. |

Those group members not involved in the production of this brochure should write a report indicating
